We’re a successful start-up growing quickly with a global reach and an innovative software solution; we are passionate, driven and looking for like-minded people to help our continued success. Our Containers are enabling Enterprise customers, many of whom are household names, to move their applications to newer operating systems and clouds like Azure and AWS.
The role of Professional Services Consultant at Cloudhouse is an exciting position helping our customers and/or their IT suppliers to implement our Containers and virtualisation software. The level of interworking with the customer is variable, many will use partners to deliver the projects with us providing the technical expertise, in some cases customers or Cloudhouse will handle the whole project… the one consistent thing is that it’s never dull!
Our product is always improving, and you will work closely with the development team to help it to evolve. The team is constantly innovating to find new ways to deliver the legacy applications, and the level of brainpower we have is already high… sorry, but if you want an easy ride we aren’t the company for you. However if you love a technical challenge, where time flies by as you work with high calibre colleagues, learning new things everyday then this is for you!
Backed up by a growing Professional Services department, which includes Project Managers, PMO and consultants, you are never alone, but you will have the opportunity to manage much of the engagement yourself. We believe in picking up the phone and talking to the customer direct, rather than standoff emails. Site visits are often required, so although the position is Office-based, there will be requirement to perform visits to our Customers’ in the UK, but potentially further afield, as required by the engagement or our company growth.
We are working with the Market leaders – Microsoft and Citrix actively promote our software. Fujitsu, Atos, CGI, DXC, Computacenter and Cap Gemini have us as a service offering in their catalogues, and we work directly with large UK Government departments and Global entities like GE Healthcare, Centrica and Jaguar Land Rover. We may be small compared to these giants, but we are punching well above our weight with our technology!
We work 37.5 hours a week and are flexible on what time you start and finish, for example: 8:00am to 4:30pm 8:30am to 5pm 9:30am to 6pm with an hour break for lunch.
24 days plus Public Holidays per annum (rising by 1 day per year for each full year of service, to a maximum of 29 days) that includes 1 day for your birthday and 3 days over Christmas and New Year.
All of the food and drinks at Cloudhouse are FREE. The building we are located in has a canteen that provides fresh coffee, smoothies, breakfast and a wide variety of hot & cold lunches. We operate an unlimited free tab for all our employees.
We sometimes feel the need for downtime, so we have a separate breakout area with the latest games and consoles to unwind. Not really a gamer? We can change that - our full VR setup (HTC VIVE) is always ready to take you on an adventure that’s hard to forget.
We believe learning something new with your teammates is way more powerful than learning it individually. We currently dedicate Wednesday afternoons to team learning as well as regularly attending boot camps, training courses, hackathons and conferences.
We believe in sharing the success of the company across the entire team, after 6 months you will be eligible for share options which are issued under the Enterprise Management Incentive (EMI) scheme.
From day one we provide you with Private Medical Insurance, Critical illness Cover, Death in Service Benefit and an EmployeeCare Assistance Programme. After 3 months we will also match Pension Contributions up to 3% via Salary Sacrifice.
