Cloudhouse invented “Cloud Application Virtualization” to revolutionize the way applications are delivered. Corporate IT use us to deploy Windows applications onto modern platforms across a distributed user base whilst package software vendors use us to migrate existing applications to the Cloud.
Our technology is addressing the challenges of virtualizing any (including legacy) desktop application to eliminate local software installation, to provide seamless portability across all Windows desktop platforms, and to publish and manage applications from a public, private or hybrid Cloud. In particular, Cloudhouse enables frictionless application deployment and on-going management within virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
Applications Anywhere and Data Anywhere together enable Windows client/server applications to be hosted in the Cloud as a managed service at a lower acquisition and total cost of ownership than comparable server based computing platforms such as Citrix or RDP. Applications Anywhere enables client application software to be distributed and managed from the Cloud, whilst Data Anywhere provides a secure, reliable, and accelerated communications channel for database-centric traffic.
From global healthcare companies to UK educational establishments, MSP’s to ISV’s, local consultancies to global software resellers – we have been fortunate to work with a number of terrific organisations throughout the course of this year. Here are just a few of the great comments that have been made about Cloudhouse:
“We needed a way to compete against web native technologies… The Cloudhouse solution has enabled us to cloud-enable our desktop application and are winning more business than ever.” T-Plan
“Cloudhouse knows more about how our application works than the people who built it, we never believed it could be provided as a hosted solution and are very pleased that Cloudhouse have proved us wrong.” Eurotax Glass’s
“Cloudhouse is a perfect solution for deploying and managing our CAD software worldwide. Our a cloud enabled desktop CAD application performs like locally installed software.” Vinci
“Cloudhouse have dramatically impacted our solution. By cloud-enabling our technology we have improved the service we offer, decrease our distribution costs, and increased revenue”. SoundBooth
Following a full analysis by Gartner of our publishing and virtualization tool, our deployment platform, our application management console and our data connectivity tool, we were delighted to be recognized as a “Cool Vendor” in Endpoint Computing, 2014.
We were also named as a “Selected Vendor” within the brand new category of Cloud Application Virtualization in “Gartner’s IT Market Clock for Client Computing, 2014”. The authors of this report, Federica Troni and Michelle A. Brosnhan, explain that “Cloud application virtualization offers many of the advantages of other application virtualization techniques and further improves IT agility by allowing applications to be delivered quickly or even to self-provision via application stores without installation on the device.”
It’s been wonderful to see our team expand over the last few months. Our development, testing and professional services teams have almost doubled in size and we have welcomed three new members to our management team:
We are delighted to welcome so many new people to our team.
2015 is another pivotal year for us. We have signed contracts with a global supplier of healthcare software and will be jointly launching a Cloudhouse powered solution at HIMMS in April, so watch this space. Additionally, a number of major product updates are planned, beginning with a portal upgrade in February and March. We are continuing with our recruitment of truly exceptional individuals to join the team.
We will be kicking off the 2015 with a series of web seminars, the first is at 11am on Thursday 29th January and discusses "How to drive down the on-going cost of VDI deployments by optimizing application delivery & licensing". For more information please contact us.
We want to wish our customers, our partners and every member of the Cloudhouse team a peaceful end to 2014 and look forward to embarking on another exciting year in January.
Despite emergency security patches issued by Microsoft for a number of its legacy operating systems, WannaCry highlighted a major risk faced by companies running business critical applications on unsupported systems. It also showed that, without on-going support, it will become too costly, in both monetary and reputational terms, for organisations to continue running their legacy applications.
