AppManagEvent 2025: Insights, Reactions, and Why These Events Shape Better Products

AppManagEvent 2025 once again proved why it remains one of the most influential gatherings in the application management world. For Cloudhouse, it was more than a chance to showcase technology; it was an opportunity to speak directly with the practitioners who live and breathe application delivery challenges every day.

This year was particularly significant for us, as we unveiled Cloudhouse Foundry, our new platform for packaging, modernising, and deploying applications across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments. Foundry has been built from the ground up in direct response to the pain points we see across real-world estates, automation bottlenecks, rigid formats, complexity at scale, and the reaction validated exactly why we created it. The response confirmed a simple truth: the industry is ready for something better. Not just new products, but a clearer, more grounded roadmap that reflects the realities of modern IT.

Why events like AppManagEvent matter

You cannot get this level of honesty from a form, a webinar, or a quarterly review. AppManagEvent brings together the people who handle hundreds of applications, battle with outdated tooling, and feel the pain of every OS upgrade. Their feedback is unfiltered, practical, and often very direct, exactly what shapes better products.

One theme cut through every conversation: application packaging has not caught up with the rest of modern IT.

Teams want automation without losing control, flexibility without format lock-in, and tools that support the messy, unpredictable reality of large estates, not the theoretical ones vendors like to imagine. Foundry hit a nerve early because it confronts these gaps head-on.

Foundry: strong interest, strong opinions

Our Foundry session sparked exactly the kind of dialogue we hoped for. Audience questions were sharp, technical, and highly specific, the best possible sign:

  • — When can they get access?
  • — How quickly can it automate repetitive packaging tasks?
  • — How broad is format support beyond MSIX?
  • — How will updates, versioning, and pipelines work?

The appetite is clearly there. Packaging at scale is still a bottleneck for many organisations, and the idea of a flexible, format-agnostic, automation-first platform resonated strongly.

One recurring comment: “Tell us when it’s public, and we’ll be there.”
Another: “Finally, something that doesn’t force us into a single packaging format.”

Foundry is already shaping up to be a significant shift in this space, and AppManag validated that direction from day one.

What the market told us

A few clear insights emerged from the event:

    • — MSIX continues to be a challenge for many teams.
    • — Organisations want more flexibility, not another proprietary box to climb into.
    • — CI/CD integration matters, but transparency matters more.
    • — Rebuilding packages for every platform change is exhausting and costly.
    • — Automation is essential, but predictable automation wins trust.

These conversations influence our priorities directly. They help us refine Foundry, strengthen Alchemy, and keep Guardian aligned with real-world operational needs, a blueprint for our future more than just a simple feedback list.

Who we met, and what they cared about

The audience was highly technical, packaging engineers, consultants, administrators, and the people responsible for keeping hundreds of applications moving.

While not every attendee was a direct decision-maker, they are the ones who validate whether a tool survives contact with real environments. Their reactions shape buying decisions downstream. The enthusiasm was clear, and several organisations showed strong interest in seeing more of Foundry and understanding how it fits into their delivery pipelines.

And there is a broader point here: building presence in this market is not optional. Events like AppManage help establish Cloudhouse as a consistent, visible voice in the packaging and modernisation space, something attendees expect from a company aiming to reshape this category.

Should Cloudhouse return in 2026? Absolutely.

Several visitors remembered Cloudhouse from previous years, but not always clearly. That alone is a reason to return.

In this market, visibility compounds. The more consistently we show up, the more we anchor Cloudhouse as a long-term player.

AppManage is one of the few events where practitioners come to experiment, challenge, and compare solutions. Being part of that ecosystem strengthens trust and reinforces why our products exist.

Final thoughts

AppManagEvent 2025 delivered what no web form or online demo can: candid, technical feedback from the engineers who know exactly where tools fail and where they must improve.

The reception to Foundry was a strong validation of our direction. The questions, the challenges, and the feature requests are already shaping what we build next.

Events like this sharpen our thinking. They refine our roadmap. They keep us accountable to the people who depend on our tools.

And we will be back.
